Mission Statement

The aim of the Ballinasloe Archaeological and Historical Society is to generate an interest in the local history of Ballinasloe. In Ireland, local history has traditionally been neglected in favour of national history, and in these rapidly changing times it is essential that the rich local history of Ballinasloe be preserved.
